What are we looking for specifically? A vertebral subluxation complex!
Every cell, organ, and tissue in human body is controlled by the nervous system. Your central nervous system consist of the brain, spinal cord (vertebral bones) and spinal nerves. Each spinal nerve branches out of the spine to reach every organ, muscle, and tissue in the body. If a bone in your spine shifts out of its proper position, it may cause extra, unwanted pressure on the spinal cord and associated nerves. This is known as vertebral subluxation complex. Due to the pressure on the nerves, the brain is not able to communicate with its target area of the body. At Rise, we decrease these subluxations therefore improving the communication from the brain to the rest of the body, so that the body can heal itself from the inside out!
How did I get a subluxation?
Subluxation of the spine can occur from things as little as poor posture to high-impact motor vehicle accidents, slips, and falls. Some of the common causes of subluxations are:
Poor diet, lack of physical activity, incorrectly exercising, emotional and psychological stress, sitting for long periods of time without proper back support (driving), motor vehicle accidents, slips, falls, broken bones, and improperly moving heavy objects.
